Shakespeare

This is just a quick post to say that as my English Professor Dr. Dickson would say, "Shakespeare...is a GOD!!" Seeing Othello performed at the Globe theatre was amazing! I was in a very happy place! The longest performance I had ever been to by far, just over three hours. So by the time the play was out it was 11 o'clock, and the play house is a bit of a walk from any underground and the underground stops running at midnight and I'm on the other side of London from my hostel!! But don't worry, clearly I made it through the streets of southbank, over one of the bridges to the nearest underground and home safe and sound. London is a very different place at night than during the day, and I like both ways pretty well. Oh, and in other news, I have a new roommate from Alabama. She's very nice, and is going to be here about a week, so that's cool. I may have someone to meander with whenever she's not doing her tourist stuff. Oh, that's the other thing. Besides my tour days, I've pretty much seen everything in London I wanted to see, so my time now is full of relaxation and books and stuff, YAY!! 10 Days until I leave for Europe!!
