Well, so far today I have been threaten to get shot in the face...twice...been told I smell like I bathed in my own urine, and been hit on by a French guy attempting an English accent "Cheers, Baby"...very much fun overall!! Of course, the getting shot in the face and urine bits were addressed at me while touring the London Dungeon, and I was picked on by the actors at several stops throughout the tour. It was pretty cool, one of the only things that has been close to worth the amount of money you pay to see. It was a good hour and a half tour through the dungeons, with little ride bits and actor tour guides. It was very spiffy, no pics of the inside though, just the outside entrance. The French guy just so happened to be walking down the street in the opposite direction of Brandon and I as we walked home from dinner tonight.
In other news, we went to see London Tower as well today. That was very awesome. It was sort of like stepping back in time. I got lots of pics of the keep, and some cool ones of weapons and stuff. King Henry VIII's walking staff is a pretty wicked looking stick, spikes all coming out of the end of it. It was a very neat touristy thing for us to do today, and not uberly expensive. I've been getting into places a bit cheaper than Brandon cuz I'm a student, so that's cool. Although I do make up the price difference by purchasing guide books and stuff while entering and Brandon doesn't usually do that. We've almost done everything I wanted to do here in London, but there's still the Globe and most of South Bank and the City, so I won't be bored when Brandon's gone.
We leave for Scotland at 6:30 tomorrow morning on the train!! So excited!!! We won't get back until pretty late, but still. Going to see Edinburgh castle and some other sights. Then when we get back we may go to Wimbledon to go on the #1 scary roller coaster!!! Dave, you jealous?? So yeah, got lots of pics, gonna have to unload them again before I got to Europe, I can tell. Miss you all, love and hugs,
Mel xox

Margaret
Aw, Mel! You scared me there, too! I was thinking, "Wow...London has changed a lot since I was last there..."
Although in all fairness, sometimes you do smell like you bathe in urine...I didn't want to be the one to say it, but...yeahh...
Kidding! I joke, I joke!
Miss and love you lots, darling! Be safe, and don't let anyone actually shoot you in the face...Unless they ask you very, very nicely, of course. ;)
Hey Missy,
Well it sounds like you are having a great time. Your adventures will be very helpful for me to decide what to see when I am in London this summer! I'm taking notes from your blog! I have heard Edinburgh is beautiful and will also be going there myself after London. Anyways, have a great time in Scotland and I will be looking forward to find out what is good to see there!
Jen :)
