Well, today was another fun filled day of touring. I got to go to Stratford, see where Shakespeare was born and buried and all that, the Costwolds (very cute, green, villagy areas in Britain), Warwick Castle, and a bunch of other stuff!! More and more pics for everyone to see when I get back. Must say, Warwick castle was awesome!! It's very possibly the most intact, still standing, medieval castle on the planet!! It's really super cool. I got to climb all over the battlements and see in the rooms and.........................WATCH A TREBUCHET GET LAUNCHED!! It was so very extraordinarily cool!! They shot a flaming projectile like 250 metres!! Very spiffy, caught the whole thing on tape!! I got quite a few more knick-knacks today, but mostly post cards and stuff. Found another thing perfect for Dad that will make Dave equally as jealous as the last thing I got Dad, even found something for Daniel as recompense for rubbing in all the plays I'm gettting to see (if he's not reading the blog, could you tell him he gets a consolation prize please Cole?) Luckily my cold was ever so slightly better today. I was still pretty tired, but at least I didn't have to blow my nose ALL THE TIME!! The tour guy was fantastic today, if I started trying to tell you all the cool facts he told me, there just wouldn't be enough internet time. It made the history loving part of my brain very happy!!
So, for the next few days I'm gonna lay pretty low. Got laundry to do, some more pics to print off, finally gonna put together a care package to send home so I won't have to pack it all around, probably going to go and see Pirates 3, read some more Sherlock Holmes, maybe even some Paradaise Lost (bought that at the British Library over a week ago), and just relax and recouperate so that I'm not still sick when I go to Europe. My next play is on the 29, Lion King, and Phantom on the 31...wow, that's coming up fast...:D cool though
Anyways, I'm going to end this blog with a request, could all you posters (besides mom and dad who already do this most of the time) throw in some more details about what you've all been up to? I miss you guys!!! Okay, that's all for now, tonight shall be an evening of rest!
Love and hugs, Mel
